1. Gaza (Palestine) - Emergency Life Corridor

For our brothers and sisters in besieged Gaza who are trying to hold on to life under the shadow of bombardment, we are creating an "Emergency Life Corridor." Despite the logistical difficulties, we deliver hot meals and food packages together with our local partners.

2. The African Continent (Uganda, Somalia, Nigeria)

Africa is the region that endures the month of Ramadan under the harshest conditions due to the climate crisis and economic hardship. Through our Africa iftar donation efforts, we focus on the following countries:

• Somalia: The East African country where drought and famine (the hunger crisis) are felt most severely.
• Uganda: Madrasas and orphanages in rural areas, villages where access to water is difficult.
• Nigeria: Regions struck by poverty where food security is at a critical level.

3. Asia and the Middle East (War and Crisis Regions)

• Afghanistan: Hot-meal and provisions support for families struggling with harsh winter conditions and a deep economic crisis.
• Pakistan: Regions trying to heal the wounds of flood disasters and fighting poverty.

4. Turkey (Our Own Homeland)

Above all in the earthquake region, we knock on the doors of needy families, orphans and the elderly across every corner of our country, keeping the blessing of Ramadan alive on our own soil as well.

The most beautiful moment of Ramadan is the moment of breaking the fast with a glass of water and a date as the call to prayer is recited. Through our Africa iftar meal projects, we share this moment with our brothers and sisters thousands of kilometers away.

Why Is Providing an Iftar Meal in Africa Important?

In many villages in Africa (Uganda, Somalia, Nigeria), people are forced to fast without having suhoor due to malnutrition. The 150 TRY cost of a single iftar that you donate enables one person to have both their iftar and their suhoor. In our organizations, filling menus consisting of rice, meat, vegetable dishes and local beverages are served.

In these days when the situation in Gaza remains grave and access to clean water and food is almost impossible, the hot meals distributed through our soup kitchens are of vital importance. Due to the harsh conditions in the region and rising costs, our iftar amounts are listed below.

• Dedicated Table: You can have a special table set up for your family, your company or the souls of your departed loved ones. A dedicated-table organization is arranged for donations of at least 300 people, and a personalized video is sent to these donors.

2. Food Parcel Aid

While iftar tables provide an immediate solution, delivering a Ramadan food parcel to Africa keeps a family's kitchen running throughout Ramadan. Our food parcels consist of basic food items suited to the eating habits of the region.

What Is in a Food Parcel?

A standard food parcel (1,500 TRY) contains rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil, pasta, tomato paste, salt and, depending on the region, dates or local grains. This package is designed to meet the suhoor and iftar needs of a family of 4-5 people.

Why does the cost of a food parcel vary by region?

• General Food Parcel (1,500 TRY): The standard price applicable to Africa (Somalia, Uganda, Nigeria), Asia (Afghanistan, Pakistan) and Turkey.
• Gaza Food Parcel (2,500 TRY): The cost of the trucks entering the region, border-crossing procedures and the scarcity of products inside drive the price up.

3. Fitrah, Fidya and Zakat

Ramadan is a month of purifying both the body and one's wealth. The question how much is the 2026 fitrah is shaped by the minimum amount set by the Presidency of Religious Affairs.

How Much Is the 2026 Fitrah?

Answer: For the one-month fidya calculation, the formula 30 x 240 TRY = 7,200 TRY is used. According to religion, the entire fidya debt may be given at once, or it may be paid piece by piece during the month of Ramadan. You can make piecemeal payments by writing "Fidya" in the description field of our association's bank accounts.
